For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)
As we read these words from Jeremiah, let's remember that God cares about our whole person—heart, mind, body, and relationships. He wants to give us hope and a future, not just in our circumstances but also in our inner lives.
Anxiety can be a heavy burden, but it's essential to recognize that we're not alone in this struggle. Many Christians have found comfort and peace in their faith during times of anxiety. One way to cultivate this sense of peace is by practicing gratitude. Take some time each day to reflect on the things you're thankful for, no matter how small they may seem.
