Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how GodIsTherapy.com ("we," "our," or "the site") handles information when you visit our website. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about the data practices of third-party services we use.
1. Information We Collect
You can browse GodIsTherapy.com without an account, in which case we do not directly collect personally identifiable information from you.
If you create an optional account, we store the information you choose to provide — your name, email address, profile details (such as a favorite scripture, prayer request, home church, or location), quiz scores, and any journal entries you save. This data is stored securely with Supabase, our authentication and database provider, and is never sold or shared with advertisers. Journal entries are private to your account.
AI personalization (optional, off by default). If you turn on "Personalize my journal prompts" in your profile, excerpts of your recent journal entries are processed by an AI service (OpenAI) solely to generate a daily journaling prompt tailored to you. Your entries are not used for AI training, are not shared for any other purpose, and are never processed this way unless you have explicitly enabled this setting. You can turn it off at any time.
If you subscribe to our newsletter via ConvertKit, your email address is collected and stored by ConvertKit in accordance with their privacy policy. We use that email address solely to send the newsletter you signed up for.
2. Cookies and Tracking
We do not set first-party cookies. However, third-party services embedded on this site may set cookies on your device:
- Google AdSense — We display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to show you personalised ads based on your browsing activity. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites.

This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- ConvertKit — Our newsletter sign-up form is powered by ConvertKit, which may set cookies related to form functionality.
You can opt out of personalised Google advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings or by visiting aboutads.info.
3. Google AdSense
This site uses Google AdSense, a service provided by Google LLC, to display advertisements. Google AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other sites on the internet. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits.
For more information about how Google uses your data, please visit Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps.
4. Newsletter (ConvertKit)
If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, your email address is processed by ConvertKit (a third-party email service provider).
